We know that the college send-off years can be stressful and full of struggles for many parents and families.  With that in mind, we have designed a new program at Kehillat Israel called Bridges: Transitioning the Family to the College Years to guide and support parents and teens during this transition to college and to help continue these connections throughout your student’s college experience.

 For Parents Who Have Just Sent Students To College: 
October 2018 - January 2019
This portion of the series is designed to provide parents with insight into the major lifestyle shift of becoming a parent of a college student. We will share Jewish text and teachings that relate to this stage, as well as knowledge and understanding of the many dynamics this time creates. Some of the topics include Jewish life on campus, health and wellness and the shifting relationships between parents and young adults.
