KI ECC 2024 Summer Camp

Get Ready for Summer Camp 2024: Six Weeks of Fun!
June 24-August 2nd
Silly Shabbat, water play, specialists, shows, challah baking, and so much more...
 


KI's Summer Camp will be led by our outstanding ECC teachers with a similar schedule to our year-round program. Tuition includes both snack and hot lunch. 

Summer Camp is an excellent time to transition for new students. We suggest a minimum of three consecutive weeks in order for us to have time to transition a new student to preschool in the summer. We also offer a Kinder Session for Graduated TK students for weeks 1 and 2 only. 

Space is limited, so be sure to complete your enrollment form today! 

Dates: (The last day of the 2023-24 school year is Wednesday, June 5th and the first day of the 2024-25 school year is Wednesday, August 21st) 
Week 1: June 24th-28th 
Week 2: July 1st- 3rd** Short Week for July 4th holiday

Half-Day: 9am-12pm

SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION

SUMMER CAMP AGREEMENT

Agreement 1
(“Child”) is hereby enrolling in the Early Childhood Center (“ECC”) at Kehillat Israel (“KI”) for the 2024 Summer Program, subject to the terms and conditions of this Tuition Agreement (“Agreement”). This Agreement is entered into between KI and the parent(s) and/or guardian(s) who have signed below (collectively, “Parents”). By initialing IN THE BOX BELOW EACH PARAGRAPH and signing this Agreement at the end, I/we am/are agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement. Parent agrees to pay all fees for the 2024 Summer Program on the terms set forth below. To complete enrollment Parent must complete and sign this Agreement and pay the full tuition based on the session(s) they are enrolling in. Parent acknowledges that Parent has reviewed the tuition agrees to pay such amounts. In addition, Parent acknowledges that it has reviewed the programs structure schedule below and agrees to the terms set out therein.
 
Agreement 2
Parent(s) acknowledge(s) and agree(s) that the full tuition amount will be due and payable unless enrollment is canceled by written notice to the Director of the ECC prior to May 1st, 2024. If notice of a withdrawal is received prior to May 1st, 2024, Parent shall not be liable for, or responsible for paying, for any additional tuition or fees. In the event notification of cancelation occurs on or after May 1st, 2024, the full tuition and fees shall become due, payable, and non-refundable, even if Child does not attend school.
 
Agreement 3
Parent agrees to pay all tuition and fees when due including KI’s congregational commitment and assessments and to comply in full with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event any payment due under this Agreement is not made in a timely manner, the entire balance of the tuition will become immediately due and payable at the sole discretion of KI. Non-payment of tuition or other school costs or congregational commitments and assessments, in whole or in part, shall result in termination of any right of Child to attend the school or participate in school activities until financial obligations have been met.
 
Agreement 3
Parent agrees to pay all tuition and fees when due to comply in full with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Agreement 4
Parent shall pay tuition and fees in accordance with the payment schedule below:
All payments for the 2024 Summer Program must be paid by June 1st, 2024. 
In addition, Parent acknowledges and agrees that paying all required congregational dues and fees is a requirement of sending Child to the ECC. Parent shall complete all necessary membership renewal forms and pay all required dues, fees, and assessments associated therewith.
 
Agreement 4
Parent shall pay tuition and fees in accordance with the payment schedule below:

All payments for the 2024 Summer Program must be paid by June 1st, 2024. 

 
Agreement 5
If there is any unanticipated limited closure, no credit or refund will be issued. For any continuous closure that lasts for 2 or more weeks, billing will be paused.
 
Agreement 6
Parent agrees to comply in full with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Non-payment of tuition, other camp costs or congregational commitments, in whole or in part, shall result in termination of any right of Child to attend camp or participate in camp activities until financial obligations have been met.

Agreement 7
Except as specifically addressed in this Agreement, tuition and fees shall become payable and non-refundable, even if Child does not attend camp. Except as specifically addressed in this Agreement, Parent understands and agrees that no refund or reduction in annual tuition and fees will be made in the event of any voluntary or involuntary absence, withdrawal, dismissal, suspension, or expulsion of Child before the end of the camp session. Parent acknowledges that KI reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to dismiss Child from camp if and when Child’s presence is judged to be detrimental to the welfare of the camp and/or its students or staff and/or because of material failure by Parent or Child to comply with the policies and procedures of the camp. In the event that such action by KI is necessary, Parent understands and agrees that Parent shall remain liable to complete full payment of annual tuition and fees not yet paid, and that no refund shall be owed for any tuition and fees previously paid.
 
Agreement 8
Parent hereby gives full consent and permission for Child to participate in all activities offered by the ECC Summer Camp to its students. Parent also understands and acknowledges that in addition to the tuition, there may be other costs (such as special activities) which may be incurred and for which Parent will be responsible. Parent hereby waives, releases, and holds harmless KI and each of its officers, directors, agents, and employees from any and all claims of liability for any accident or injury incurred by Child during any school activity except for any accident or injury caused by the willful misconduct of KI or its agents.
 
Agreement 9
Any and all claims arising out of, or relating to this Agreement or its performance, breach, or interpretation, including any claim for any equitable remedy, shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be held in Los Angeles, California, before a single arbitrator, who shall be a member of the State Bar of California, chosen under the administration of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator shall apply California law in reaching its decisions as if sitting as a judge in a court of law.
 
Agreement 10
Parent represents that Parent has read, understands, and agrees to all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement as well as the policies and procedures. Parent further acknowledges and agrees that any Child and/or Parent who does not abide by the policies and procedures of the summer camp as contained in this Agreement and any other ECC or KI publications or agreements as may be provided to Parent from time to time, may be excluded from the ECC without a refund of any tuition.
 
Agreement 11
No waiver of any obligation under this Agreement shall be valid unless in writing and signed by the Executive Director of KI.
 
Agreement 12
The failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement is not a waiver of such provision. This Agreement constitutes the sole, entire, integrated written agreements of Parents and KI relative to the subject matter contained herein. In the event that any provision of this Agreement should be void or unenforceable, the remainder will remain in full force and effect.
 
Agreement 13
Parent understands, represents and warrants that: (I) Parent is the parent(s) and/or legal guardian of Child; (II) this Agreement is a binding legal document, jointly and severally enforceable against each Parent who has signed below; and (III) Parent is authorized to enter into this Agreement.
 
Agreement 14
