Each week we are given the opportuinity to begin anew through the ritual of Havdalah, meaning separation or differentiation. This Jewish ritual has been adapted through millennia to address many kinds of transitions out of one reality and blessing new beginnings.

Please join us to bless the transition from our initial experience of the trauma of the fires to the next phase - whatever that looks like for each of us. We will bless the end of one significant phase of our response to this tragedy as we begin the next "week" of our process. As always, we do this best when we're together! 

KI remains strong and we, standing on the foundations of our Jewish tradition of destruction and recovery are the reason it is so.
