A Preview of the 12 Propositions On The California Ballot
KI is hosted a non-partisan discussion of the 12 California measures on the November ballot. David Bocarsly, Director of the California Legislative Jewish Caucus explained the 12 Propositions and lead a discussion about each.
"Thank you to everyone who joined us for our review of the propositions last night! Special thanks to David Bocarsly for leading us in such an informative session. We are so proud of our KI community for making it so clear that engaging in our civil responsibilities is such a priority. It is so important that we do our part to be an educated, well informed electorate. On that note, we want to correct a piece of information discussed last night on Proposition 15. Proposition 15 does exclude any and all residential situations. Apartment buildings regardless of size, etc are exempt from this change in property tax. Thank you to those who pointed this out, we verified the information and now can say it definitively.
